A district court’s March 6 dismissal of the claims alleging deceptive foreclosure practices was reasonable, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia said.
Whistleblower Laurence Schneider, who filed the suit, didn’t raise any evidence of fraud on the district court or any exceptional circumstance suggesting the court shouldn’t defer to the DOJ’s decision, the three-judge panel said.
