Three federal judges who decided to “unretire” after President Donald Trump won the election didn’t violate judicial ethics rules, a chief judge held.
Chief Judge Debra Ann Livingston of the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit threw out the conservative Article III Project’s misconduct complaints against Judges James Wynn Jr. of the US Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, Max Cogburn of the US District Court for the Western District of North Carolina, and Algenon Marbley of the US District Court for Southern District of Ohio.
