JP Morgan Sued Over Data Breach Involving Personal Information

JP Morgan Chase & Co. is facing a new class action alleging that it didn’t have sufficient procedures in place to prevent a data breach involving the personally identifiable information belonging to its clients’ employees.

“The Data Breach was a direct result of Defendant’s failure to implement adequate and reasonable cyber-security procedures and protocols necessary to protect its clients’ employees’ PII from a foreseeable and preventable cyber-attack,” the complaint says.
