Jones Day has hired White House alum Robert Luther III to join its government regulation practice in Washington, where he’ll be working with former White House Counsel Don McGahn, who now co-chairs the practice.
“Rob has a compelling background, as he has served in all three branches of the federal government over the last five years,” McGahn said in a statement.
Jones Day has enjoyed a cushy relationship with the Trump administration, with numerous of its former lawyers working in it, including Solicitor General Noel Francisco. The firm also has represented Trump’s presidential campaign.
