Intralot’s D.C. Online Gambling Contract Survives Challenge

Washington, D.C., brushed off a challenge to its July 2019 award of a $215 million no-bid contract to Intralot to operate the city’s online sports gambling system after the D.C. Court of Appeals held that the challenger lacks standing to bring the suit.

App developer Dylan Carragher’s “frustrated desire” to launch his own online sports betting platform to compete in D.C.'s sports wagering marketplace doesn’t show a sufficient injury to establish standing, the court said.
