Insulet Corp. can add $15 million in attorneys fees to its $59.4 million victory over EOFlow Co. Ltd. in an insulin pump trade secrets dispute, a Massachusetts federal judge ruled.
A verdict that EOFlow willfully stole secrets put fees on the table, and awarding fees in most such cases is “surely the preferable approach” under the Defend Trade Secrets Act, the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts said Thursday.
