Immigrant Families Split at Border Due in Connecticut Court

A young boy and a teenage girl who crossed the southern border illegally from Central America are due in a Connecticut court with their respective parents July 18 following a judge’s ruling that the government’s policy of separating undocumented immigrant families is unconstitutional.

Judge Victor A. Bolden of the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut found July 13 that the Trump administration policy specifically violates the rights of children.
