Illinois Disputes Generic Drugmakers’ Bid for Pricing Law Pause

Illinois’ interest in making generic drugs more affordable outweighs harms manufacturers may suffer under the state’s anti-price gouging law, the state attorney general argued Friday in response to an industry group’s request for a court-ordered enforcement pause.
