Husch Blackwell Adds Silver to Consumer Financial Services Team

Michael Silver has joined Husch Blackwell as a partner with the financial services and capital markets industry group and consumer financial services practice in Washington, D.C., the firm said Tuesday.

Silver was an original member of the Office of Regulations at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and he served as a senior counsel, according to Husch Blackwell.

He has experience with Unfair, Deceptive and Abusive Acts and Practices, the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act’s section 8, and the Regulation Z loan originator compensation rules, Husch Blackwell said.
