The city of Houston must face a lawsuit arising from a police officer driving and crashing into a truck while pursuing a suspect during a sting operation, a Texas court of appeals said Thursday.
There was a question of fact whether the driving officer acted recklessly because he was aware, while completing his turn, that the truck of plaintiffs Ruben Rodriguez and Frederick Okon was stopped at the intersection, the Texas Court of Appeals, Fourteenth District, said.
