One of the owners of home health services provider Dial 4 Care Inc. lost her Eleventh Circuit appeal challenging health-care fraud convictions related to a scheme to pay kickbacks to marketers for patient referrals.
The evidence was “more than sufficient” for the jury to conclude that Nelly Anderson knowingly agreed to pay—and did pay—marketers for the referrals, the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit said Friday in an unpublished, unsigned decision.
