Hip-Hop Trio Migos Says Attorney’s Self Dealing Cost It Millions

Members of the hip-hop trio Migos have sued entertainment attorney Damien Granderson in a California state court, saying their former counsel negotiated self-interested deals that cost the group millions in record sales.

The group says it first began working with Granderson in 2014 when it signed a recording agreement with Quality Control Music to release its debut album “Yung Rich Nation.” Granderson, Migos alleges, failed to reveal an incurable conflict of interest—that he not only represented the group, but also QCM.
