A Black man’s civil rights suit alleging excessive force against Ohio police was revived by the Sixth Circuit Thursday in part based on what it described as “highly inappropriate” training material including a cartoon of an officer beating a civilian.
The Euclid police’s training manual also included a link to a video of a Chris Rock comedy routine that included several depictions of Black people being beaten by police officers.
