Harvard Kennedy School is being forced to cut staff in response to the Trump administration’s actions against the university, including a federal funding freeze and attempts to block international students from attending the school.
Foreign students make up almost 60% of the student body at Harvard University’s school of government, making HKS especially prone to the White House’s targeting of enrollment from abroad. The Ivy League institution won a preliminary injunction on Friday allowing it to keep hosting international students, but the students face uncertainty over their visas and potential future moves by the Trump administration.
