Habba Resigns as US Attorney for New Jersey, Bondi Says

Alina Habba has resigned as US attorney for New Jersey and her resignation has been accepted, US Attorney General Pam Bondi says in a statement on X.

  • Habba intends to return to the position if the Supreme Court reverses an appeals court ruling deeming her current appointment invalid, Bondi says
  • Habba to continue as senior adviser to Attorney General for US Attorneys, Bondi says
