Cassandra “Sandi” Knight has moved into the top litigation role at Alphabet Inc.’s Google as the company faces myriad legal, policy, and regulatory challenges.
Knight, who was hired by the technology giant last year, serves as Google’s vice president of litigation and discovery. She took over a position previously held by Catherine Lacavera, who handled the Mountain View, Calif.-based company’s big copyright win over Oracle Corp. at the US Supreme Court.
