Google brought claims against Dmitry Starovikov and Alexander Filippov, saying they control the Glupteba botnet, a network of private computers infected with malware that was allegedly used to harvest personal and financial information. Starovikov and Filippov failed to timely appear in the case and a default was entered before it was vacated, court records show.
