Goodwin Adds McDermott Partner to Growing Life Sciences Group (2)

Goodwin Procter has hired McDermott Will & Emery’s Kristina “Kris” Bieker as the newest partner in its life sciences and technology group in Boston, part of a very active year of hires in the space.

Bieker focuses her practice on strategic patent portfolio development for early-stage life sciences companies and handles intellectual property matters during financings, mergers, public offerings, and strategic partnerships.

Bieker has more than two decades worth of experience working with public and private biotech, pharmaceutical, and medical device companies on matters such as patent prosecution, life cycle management, patent strategy, and licensing.
