It’s been a busy morning for law firm hiring. Below is a round-up of the most notable.

Gibson Dunn & Crutcherannounced that it has hiredPatrick Stokes, the senior deputy chief of the fraud section in the Justice Department’s criminal division.

Stokes joins Gibson Dunn in the Washington, D.C. office as a partner.

He worked with the DOJ since 2008 and between 2014 and March of 2016 he was the chief of the FCPA unit.

Among his notable FCPA cases, Stokes handled the 2011 prosecution and conviction of Lee Bentley Farkas, former chairman of mortgage lender Taylor, ...
