Fourth Circuit Judge Says Gorsuch Call Out ‘Really Unfortunate’

A US appeals court judge called it “really unfortunate” for Justice Neil Gorsuch to admonish jurists not to “defy” orders, saying it added to a feeling that the Supreme Court and lower courts are adversarial.

“It suddenly feels a little bit adversarial, and it ought not feel like that between both court judges and the Supreme Court,” said Judge Pamela Harris of the US Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
