Former Patent Lawyer Confirmed to Delaware Trial Court (1)

Jennifer Hall was confirmed to Delaware’s US trial court, which is a major venue for patent and other corporate disputes.

The Senate voted on Tuesday, 67-29, to elevate the US magistrate judge and former federal prosecutor in the US District Court for the District of Delaware.

Hall replaces Judge Richard Andrews, who took senior status Dec. 31. She’ll be President Joe Biden’s second judge on the court, preserving the balance between Republican and Democratic appointees.
