About 200 warranty cases over transmission problems in Ford Motor Co. cars will be added to consolidated litigation in California after an appeals court overruled a trial judge who declined to take the new cases (Ford Motor Co. v. Aguilar, 2017 BL 152810, Cal. Ct. App., 2d Dist., B277725, 5/8/17).
The decision hinged in part on whether product-liability and “Lemon Law” cases are equally suitable for coordination.
