Fluor Negligent in Taliban Suicide Attack, Injured Soldier Says

Fluor Corp. should be held liable for not doing more to stop a 2016 suicide bombing by one of its employees at the Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan, an injured U.S. soldier alleges.

Winton Hencely, a U.S. army specialist severely injured in the attack, says Fluor negligently employed Ahmad Nayeb as a private contractor at the base, while knowing he was a former Taliban member, according to the Feb. 20 complaint in the U.S. District Court for South Carolina.
