Fired Justice Department Workers Sue Over Bondi’s Agency Purge

Three fired Justice Department employees have challenged their terminations in Washington federal court, arguing any effort to take their claims to the beleaguered federal employee disputes board would be “futile.”

Attorney General Pam Bondi doesn’t have “absolute authority” to fire Justice Department employees, and the terminated workers should have been protected from firing under civil service protections, the Thursday lawsuit argues.
