Financial Adviser’s Gender Bias Suit Partially Revived on Appeal

A Louisiana financial adviser adequately alleged she was fired from her job at REJ Properties Inc. in retaliation for complaining about bullying she endured at the hands of co-workers, the Fifth Circuit said Friday.

Denise Badgerow filed a gender discrimination lawsuit against her former employer in 2017, alleging disparate pay, hostile work environment, and breach of contract claims, in addition to retaliation.
