Judge Leslie Southwick of the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit is moving his chambers from Mississippi to Texas, where he intends to remain an active judge.
Southwick, 74, who’s sat on the conservative-led Fifth Circuit since 2007, said in an email that he and his wife decided to make the move from Jackson to Austin to be closer to their son and his family.
