Felon Gun Ban Survives Constitutional Challenge at 11th Circuit

The US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit said that it was prevented by its own precedent from declaring unconstitutional a federal ban on felons possessing firearms, despite a Supreme Court ruling creating a new test for Second Amendment cases.

The three-judge panel of the Atlanta-based court on Tuesday denied Andre Dubois’s bid to declare the law unconstitutional.
