Felicity Huffman faces months behind bars after the TV star pleaded guilty to fraud in the U.S. college admissions scandal for paying $15,000 to cheat on her eldest daughter’s entrance exam.
Huffman, who issued a pained and shamed apology last month, wept as she discussed her daughter with U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani in Boston on May 13. When Assistant U.S. Attorney Eric Rosen told the judge the government wasn’t claiming Huffman’s daughter gamed an evaluation to get extra time on the test, Huffman asked to clarify.
