Ex-Solicitor General Prelogar Joins Tom Goldstein’s Legal Team

Former Solicitor General Elizabeth Prelogar is joining the legal team of SCOTUSblog.com co-founder Tom Goldstein in his criminal tax case.

The seasoned appellate advocate entered her appearance in the US District Court for the District of Maryland on Thursday.

Prelogar, who served under President Joe Biden, returned to Cooley LLP last year following a brief teaching stint at Harvard Law School. She most recently argued before the US Supreme Court in April in a case dealing with a federal district court’s authority to consider lawsuits to invalidate state court judgments.
