A Washington federal appeals court declined to revive a former FBI agent’s suit challenging his firing, after he was found to have mishandled an inquiry into former USA Gymnastics coach and convicted sex offender Larry Nassar.
A three-judge panel for the US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit on Tuesday upheld the dismissal of a lawsuit brought by former FBI agent Michael Langeman, who was summarily fired following a scathing watchdog report into the agency’s failure to adequately investigate allegations against Nassar.
