Ex-Defender Starts Trial Over Judiciary Misconduct Policies (1)

A former federal public defender rested her case against federal judiciary officials on Monday, during the first day of her civil trial alleging that her sexual harassment complaint against her supervisor was mishandled.

Caryn Strickland appeared at the federal court in Asheville, North Carolina, nearly three years after she filed a lawsuit alleging that she was harassed at the federal defenders’ office for the Western District of North Carolina.
