Ex-Barclays Exec Will Seek Reinstatement of Retaliation Claims

A former executive with Barclays Capital Inc. will ask a federal appeals court to reinstate his claims that he was terminated in retaliation for engaging in protected whistleblowing under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

Brian La Belle on Tuesday filed a notice of appeal to the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit from an order of summary judgment entered in favor of Barclays by the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
