Duties on Steel Nails From Oman Must Be Reconsidered

The duty rate on imports of certain steel nails from Oman must be reconsidered, and possibly lowered, the Federal Circuit ruled Oct. 17.

The U.S. imported an estimated $48.9 million worth of these steel nails from Oman in 2013, according to the Commerce Department. Commerce determined in 2015 that the nails were being sold in the U.S. at less than fair value, and the U.S. began imposing antidumping duties.
