Lee Lofthus stepped down last week from the Justice Department after serving for the past four presidents as DOJ’s chief administrator.
Lofthus was appointed as assistant attorney general for administration in 2006, placing him in charge of a wide range of internal operational and financial matters as head of the Justice Management Division. That includes budget planning, technology upgrades, human resources, contract procurement, and personnel ethics issues.
