DOJ ‘Peacemakers’ Office to Get Shorter Notice on Staff Cuts (2)

Employees of the Justice Department’s embattled “peacemakers” office will get less notice than is typically required for upcoming staffing cuts, shortening their window to apply for other department roles with higher priority.

The agency that oversees the federal workforce approved the Justice Department’s request for a shorter notice period for expected reductions-in-force, Julius Nam, associate director of the DOJ’s Community Relations Service, told the office’s staff in a Tuesday email reviewed by Bloomberg Law.
