DOGE’s Push for Americans’ Data Meets Mixed Response From Judges

Elon Musk’s rapid deployment of the “Department of Government Efficiency” project was quickly met with lawsuits as it spread throughout US agencies seeking access to records and data. Some challengers succeeded in limiting DOGE employees’ access to Americans’ personal and financial information, at least for now, but federal judges declined to immediately intervene at a number of agencies.
