DoD Must Pause Collective Bargaining Ban Affecting Teachers (1)

Department of Defense teachers and workers’ unions convinced a federal judge to pause the agency’s collective bargaining ban for more than 5,400 workers in DoD-operated schools.

Department of Defense Education Activity, which operates schools for children from military families in the US and abroad, can’t enforce President Donald Trump‘s executive order that bans such negotiating, said Judge Paul L. Friedman of the US District Court for the District of Columbia Thursday, granting the unions’ request for a preliminary injunction.
