DISH Network’s Sling TV Infringes Patent, New Suit Says

DISH Network Inc.‘s Sling TV allegedly infringes a patent held by Quantum Technology Innovations LLC for a content distribution system, a complaint filed in federal court says.

The patent, No. 7,650,376, was issued in January 2010, and is titled “Content Distribution System for Distributing Content Over a Network, with Particular Applicability to Distributing High-Bandwidth Content.” It’s designed to distribute video content online, the complaint says.
