A Louisiana lawyer disbarred in 2020 could face additional discipline if he seeks readmission to the bar after the state’s highest court determined he neglected other clients prior to having his license revoked.
Nicholas Anthony Bellard was disbarred for client neglect, and has displayed “an ongoing pattern of misconduct,” the Louisiana Supreme Court said Tuesday.
Bellard is “guilty of additional violations warranting discipline, which shall be considered in the event he seeks readmission after becoming eligible to do so,” the court said.
