An aide to Michigan congressman Shri Thanedar, has sued the office claiming she’s been subjected to age discrimination.
Valeria Berry, in a complaint filed Monday at the US District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan at Detroit, says she was hired to serve as a part-time constituent advocate in January 2023, but was immediately subjected to the age bias of the office’s chief of staff and district director, Linto Thomas.
