A Florida deputy sheriff’s claims that he was falsely arrested and retaliated against after he told his boss he intended to run for sheriff in another county were properly dismissed, the Eleventh Circuit said.
There was probable cause to arrest Deputy Bryan Turner and he didn’t sufficiently allege that he was otherwise retaliated against, the opinion by Judge Gerald Bard Tjoflat said.
