Democrats Sue Over North Carolina Dumping Early-Vote Saturday

The North Carolina Democratic Party filed a lawsuit on Monday, seeking to force the state to restore what had been a busy day for early voting.

The suit claims that a state law removing the Saturday before election day as an early-voting option unconstitutionally restricted free speech and elections.
