Law firm Dechert LLP is implementing a new in-office policy that treats its junior associates differently than its more senior attorneys.
First- and second-year associates, as well as Dechert’s business services professionals, will be required to come into the firm’s offices four days each week starting Feb. 2, a firm spokesperson said. Associates at the third-year level and higher, along with counsel, will be expected to hit offices three days a week.
The firm already has a four-day-a-week policy for partners and that is not changing, according to the spokesperson.
