The DC federal judge set to oversee former President Donald Trump’s criminal trial was the apparent target in a “swatting call” on Sunday night, after police responded to a false shooting report at a residence on the block where she owns a house.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that police responded to a report of a shooting around 10 p.m. in the Crestwood neighborhood of Northwest Washington, but that when officers arrived, they saw no shooting had occurred.
