Late Davis Wright Aide Did Not Have Coronavirus (1)

A Davis Wright Tremaine executive legal assistant died from an underlying health condition after experiencing flu-like symptoms, and not from Covid-19, better known as coronavirus, a firm leader said.

Davis Wright closed its Seattle and Bellevue, Wash., offices last Friday after Lisa Carney, 60, was found deceased in her home the day before.

But Carney tested negative for coronavirus, according to a statement Monday from Davis Wright Managing Partner Jeff Gray.

The firm said it has asked all of its employees to work from home for the foreseeable future.
