A District of Columbia lawyer serving a seven-year prison term for embezzling more than $1.5 million from three entities has had his license revoked.
David H. Miller was convicted of several counts of wire and mail fraud in 2019 and sentenced to prison in 2020.
Miller didn’t file any exceptions to the recommendation that he be disbarred so he will be because these are “crimes of moral turpitude per se for which disbarment is required,” the District of Columbia Court of Appeals said Thursday.
