D.C. Circuit Case Over FCC Broadband Subsidies to Be Dropped (1)

A consumer advocacy group and others have agreed to drop their challenge to the Federal Communications Commission’s scheme for subsidizing phone and broadband access in rural areas.

Lawyers for both sides alerted the US Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit on Monday that they had both agreed to voluntarily dismiss the case, less than six months after the court heard oral arguments.
