The Biden administration will extend the deadline for federal software suppliers to attest that they meet minimum cybersecurity requirements, the White House Budget Office said, as the administration works to finalize the details.
Federal agencies previously had until June 11 to collect cybersecurity information from companies that provide critical software, and until Sept. 14 for non-critical software suppliers, according to a White House memo.
