Covington Student Sues Washington Post for $250M

Nick Sandmann, the 16-year-old student in a viral video wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat while facing down a Native American elder at the Lincoln Memorial, is suing the Washington Post for the way it covered the encounter.

Sandmann went to the National Mall Jan. 18 with his classmates from the Covington Catholic High School to take part in the annual Right to Life march.

By the time the video of him staring at the elder hit the internet and the day was over, he was notorious.
