Covid Claims Judges, Attorneys from Probate to Big Law

A mainstay of the D.C. Circuit, an Oklahoma City bomb survivor, and a 107-year-old Big Law attorney are just a few of the jurists and lawyers who died of Covid or complications from it in 2020.

Georgia, Texas, and New York lost multiple judges each, while an attorney in Texas won a judicial run-off days after she, too, died.

Bloomberg Law compiled a list of some of the notable legal figures claimed by the virus this year. A nod to David Lat for publishing his own list first.
